Installing on Linux (Ubuntu)
Note: This document describes the installation under Ubuntu 13.10 Linux. Other Linux variants may vary.
Prerequisite: Download the application archive from our download page. After download you should have an application archive named osint_<version-number>_linux_x86_64.tar.gz (for the 64-bit version) in your download folder.
Installing WebKit for Eclipse
The EMM OSINT Suite uses a browser component provided by the operating system. On Ubuntu please install webkitgtk-1.0.
Execute the following command from a shell to install the needed package:

Unpacking and Installing EMM OSINT Suite
Extract the application archive to a location of your choice. According to the File System Hierachy Standard (FHS) the application should be placed in /opt/osint_<version-number>_linux_x86_64.
