Installing on MacOSX

Prerequisite: Download the application archive for MacOSX from our download page.

The MacOSX version is a compressed zip archive which contains the osint app. Make sure that you remove previous versions of the software from your Applications folder.

1. Uncompress the application archive on the file system.

2. Use the Finder to move the osint.app package to the Applications folder

Note: The current version needs to have the very latest Java Platform Standard Edition - JDK installed (as of January 2014 this is Java SE 7u51). If you don't have one on your system go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html and download the latest JDK for Mac OS X 64-bit. Install it by mounting the DMG file and clicking on the installer.
